![]() My husband and I have been married for 28 years. During that time we've owned several different types of dogs. Once we got our first Maltese we knew that we didn't want any other breed. We bought our first Maltese in 1990, it was a male. We got him when he was six weeks old, his name was Cash. We later decided to get him a friend her name was diamond, Cash and Diamond a woman’s best friend Ha Ha. Then one afternoon we lost Diamond to a viscous Rottweiler attack. Devastated by the attack we decided not to get another dog at that time. We kept our little male until he died of congestive heart failure 2 weeks before his 12th birthday in 2002. About a year later after getting over Cash’s death we decided to look for another Maltese puppy. Much to our surprise the shape, size, and in some cases even the color of a Maltese had changed. There are so many people breeding just to make money that no one cares how they look or if they were even within the standard of a Maltese. After searching in vain to find a reputable breeder we finally found one, her name is Dorothy Beier of Miloves Maltese. In order to find what we were looking for we had to buy a show puppy. As we began our journey we depended on other breeders and handlers to help us find our way into the show world. And may I say there are some mighty fine people out there, they were more than willing to point us in the right direction, we went on to finish our first male, you can see him on our males page his name is CH Miloves Handsome Hobbie On The Move “Hobbie”. We are very proud of him. Now severely bitten by the show bug we thought we would try our luck at a female. So the search was on for a show female. Like the first time we searched long and hard to find the right female. We ended up going out several states to find her. She stole our hearts at first sight. As she grew we knew we had something very special. She is our newest champion her name is CH Angel’s Sensational Summer Breeze “Breezie”. We would like to thank Bonnie Palmer of Angel’s Maltese for blessing us with such a special little girl. There were lots of bad decision and some mistakes along the way and we ended up with a few pet dogs but we love them just the same. This is how we began our family of Maltese. We are very dedicated to breeding Maltese that are true to the standard in every way. |
